One of my favorite fallout moments was in Fallout 2 with low intelligence character. If you go to Vault city and talk with one of the water vendors or something like that.

The woman insults you and pretty much tells you to leave, less you hurt yourself. What ensued was pretty amusing. As the line of dialouge went something like this.

"*Sniff* *sniff* "Me no like big smart mean people, Me invite clowns and ice cream and not INVITE BIG MEAN PEOPLE LIKE YOU."

Another moment was with Marcus and the Cat's Paw talk. Or the intelligent rad scorpion.

There was already a thread like this, but to me the discussion between the dumb guy in Klamath and you if you were dumb.

Playing F2 for the first time I equipped Sulk with a 10mm SMG and had to live with the consequences... I remember how my brother laughed his ass off seeing my character being shredded into pieces since he exactly knew what I've done.

Its a mistake everyone seems to make, hes not as good with a sub machine gun as he says he is...

For me it was the surprise of giving Cassidy some jet and watching him keel over clutching his heart...oops should of actually paid attention to that heart condition he was blabbering on about.

Francis from Broken Hills. When I first played F2 at age of around 13 I thought that the "toy" was indeed just a regular toy. Didn't get it what it actually meant at all, but I remember thinking at the time, that it wouldn't be such a bad idea to fail to beat him repeatedly to get more of those toys and sell them for a profit. The realization came a few years later. Oh boy, did I laugh. :D

That's a really good one, Couldn't help but think "why is this guy letting me off so easy?"

So many more things like that I never understood playing as a 10 year old.

One of my all time favorite moments was from Fallout 1. Though it's been quite awhile since I played it. I remember that it was in the southwestern section of The Hub. I convinced this guard to enter some building. Later I talked to the owner and he was furious. He questioned as to how I got in, and what my business was. Then it was my turn to speak, one of the dialogue options was "I love you". His reaction was so nonchalant, like it happened to him before. Afterwards I was kicked out. Though I couldn't stop laughing, it was so out of the blue. Especially for the character I built. It may be simple... and a little stupid... but it sure was hilarious. XD

One of my favourites was when i brought the car into broken hills (was that the one with the ghouls and mutants living in peace?), and it pinned down the ghoul. It was quite hilarious knowing that the ghoul was just way to slow to evade my driving skills.

You guys remember the amusing shotgun marriage arrangement in fallout 2?

That was amusing especially when you are wearing enclave power armor and you still are afraid to piss off the father.

Nothing worst than a scorn of your father in law.

My favorite moments is running around the glow, fixing the place, and basically learning about the prewar world. Such an awesome place to explore. The toxic caves storage facility wss pretty cool too. Talk about hard to get in, and relatively rewarding

My favorite moment would have to be the aftermath of the destruction of Nipton. I will never forgot the feeling I had when I first came there. I was shocked and horrified and my conversation with Vulpes just added to my feeling of dread, horror and anger. He did not give two fucks over what he did, this was like talking out the trash to him. But what I loved the most was that your character had no emotional connection or any connection to the town of Nipton. You were just a witness and then a messenger. You could chose how you wanted to feel be it anger, horror, apathy or approval at what Vulpes and the Legion had done. It was up to you, you weren't force to feel a certain way. This was so genius that I can't wrap my head around it. If this was Bethesda they would have it be that your Courier and his/her family's hometown was Nipton and that Vulpes and the Legion killed your parents and then kidnapped your brother and your driving force throughout the game would have been to rescue your brother from the Legion only to discover when you finally met back up with him that he has been brainwashed into a loyal solider of Caesar. Dun dun DUN! Goddamn is Bethesda writing so predictable and cliche.

Did anyone else enjoy The Glow as much as me? It may be one of my favorite places in ANY of the Fallout games (1,2, Tactics, 3, NV, 4, what have you). I just love how difficult it is to get to, and that radiation is really dangerous, with chems being so rare. On top of that, you get one of the best weapons in the game (Plasma Rifle!). I love The Glow, and it's my favorite place/quest in any game, period.

A close second is meeting and talking to the Master with a high int/speech character. The Master is one of the most intriguing enemies in videogame history.

Honorable mentions are The EPA in Fallout 2, Riley's Rangers in 3 (unpopular opinion I know), the quest in NV where you find out one of the NCR's own is sabotaging them from the inside out, but only to help, and I quite like the first main mission in Fallout 4 where you hop in power armor, rip a minigun off a vertibird, and drop down from the top of a building while shredding raiders to pieces.

I can honestly say that in every Fallout game I can find something (a quest, location, character, etc...) that I just absolutely love. These games are superb for the most part.

The Glow was a really engaging part of the game for me because of how lonely it felt. Here you have one of the most dangerous locations in the game world, which you wouldn't date get near if you don't have tons of Rad-X, reached by climbing down a hole in the ground, and when you get there you're just... alone. There's just robots (mostly deactivated), some computers, and information pertaining to what that place used to be. It's a difficult journey, and you likely won't survive if you're not prepared, but out of all the places in the game, you realize that you're alone. In the ruins of a brave world that no longer breathes.

Leaving vault 15 for the 2nd time

I know, generic cookie cutter answer but that ending is fantastic. Minimalistic, sure, but it fit the bill perfectly for F1.
