Yeah but that was the 90s and early 2000s before post-post-post-post-irony made it where showing an emotion was horrible and should be a moment of feeling deep shame for ever showing anyone in the outside world that you felt something or didn't conform to an inconsequential fashion or expected reaction.

New DMC netflix show is just muh Bush, America, Middle-east, Oil, Demons are brown people, etc. So about as insightful as one can expect from Shankar, who made the masterpiece that is 'How To Fix Apu Once And For All'

They followed that up with season 2, which immediately shed its positives that season one had. Bloated pacing, cringeworthy dialogue, and wannabe GOT vampire politics. Completly fucking the adaption of Dracula's curse and doing nothing with it's extra episodes it was given. It had some good moments, like the Dracula fight, but failed to build off of the first season.

I watched blood of zeus and it was forgettable mush, and all I saw of season 3 of Castlevania was the Alucard double team ass fucking clip and didn't bother following the show or the studio's work afterward.

The state of anime in general is pretty dire. Moe shit, shonen shit, romcom harem shit, iseaki scourge, shitty light novel and manga adaptions, etc. I don't think I've watched more than an episode or two of a series in the last 2-3 anime seasons.

To be honest, there's probably tons of overlap in Finnic and Saami traditions, but I wouldn't know, cus we never, ever paid them any mind, other than subjugating and stuff, but I have no idea how to even say "Hello" in Saami. I know 0 words.
