I have been on the boards a few weeks and I just want to say thanks to all the people who helped me out so far.
I am in the my first run through of fallout 2. hated it at first with the old graphics and the insanely slow turnbased movemnet when you fight 10 wolves...but it has grown on me a ton. I am totally going to play it again.

Hey what's up guys I am new to the nma forums and just wanted to say hello! 
I got into fallout 3 about 6 months ago, starting off playing on the PC and completing the game and the dlc, got some cool mods and had a play around with them aswell
Recently I picked up a copy for the PS3, currently working towards getting the platinum trophy for it
If anyone wants to add me on xFire, PSN, Steam or Windows Live for games my handle is czexz

In F3, no matter your specialty you could rule in combat, not the same with F1-2.

I like play original Fallout games (1 and 2, because 3 is just bad)
And i also make websites often and update them too.
I living in Finland and i speak english (very poor)

We talk about Fallout serious? Man, man, man (and sometimes the woman): all talk about Fallout serious talk. Something about it playing serious.

I am from the far place with the UN building and the little man who is naked and urinates. Not Finland, but Belgium. Here the man is naked and urinates on the fuse of the history of the city Brussels. Because of the bomb of history, but some people say it is not the history, but a story like the story in the bibles, like a lie, or a joke, but not true reality. You understand. Still the man is naked and he urinates every day. Then people come (also toursist) they take the picture and build a mantle piece to put the pictures up onto it. Not so in Finland (question)?

Hello. Obviously I'm not new, but I've always been a lurker at NMA and have been inactive for several years, so I might as well be. I started playing Fallout in 1997, started playing Fallout 2 in 1998, and have played each of them more than a dozen times since then.
I've returned to NMA because I'm working on two Fallout-related projects. The first is a parodical Fallout 2 "Let's Play"-style series, in which I take various screen shots while playing through the game and use Photoshop to add bordered Fallouty floating text as dialogue. At my home forum, it's been well received thus far, reading more like a comic strip than your typical boring Let's Play thread. Childish, rude language and ridiculous humor is the word of the day.
It's called "Blaine's Totally Rad Post-Nuclear Vision Farce: Gaiden." I've created two parts already (35-45 screen shots per part) and I'm working on the third part now. It may be that NMA will find this humorous. You need only Google the title to find it online, if you want to take a gander. If desired, I or someone else can repost it (and update it) here at NMA.
Secondly, I'm working on animating FRM sprites, backgrounds and Fallouty text in .GIF format, so that BTRPNVF:G can become an animated project, rather than a series of screen shots. I'm a fair hand at using JASC Animation Shop, and I know how to extract FRM sprites from Fallout 2's .DAT files. I just need to clear a few more hurdles, such as actually converting the FRMs to GIFs, which I need a bit of help with. I know where NMA's modding file section is, but I'm having trouble using the programs.
So if someone could PM me with a bit of advice about exactly which subforum to post in looking for help, that would be grand.

Thanks for pointing me to that thread! Most of the FRM2XXX-type progs seem to be DOS or command-line based, and I'm not much of a computer whiz, so I've had trouble using them. Hopefully I'll get things sorted out starting from there.
Oh, uh, a word of warning about the site where you'll find Blaine's Totally Rad Post-Nuclear Vision Farce: Gaiden — It's a gore site, definitely NSFW, where people are allowed free speech about almost everything unless it involves children or posting other users' private information. So stay crunchy, men.
The thread by itself should be relatively safe, though.

Late but certainly not too late i want to introduce myself a bid.
I am here because i like that game we´re all playing.
Secondly i am interested at developing "Fallout" for a better game balance and surely more fun.
So i am posting mostly at the "modding thread" by finding "bugs" and making suggestions.
I am also involved at my home forum in Germoney that´s called "Fallout now".

At least I Just want to say "Killap" for president for the ages of his lifetime he´s spending to finish the "Restoration project".
