It couldn't happen to a nicer person.
But you know that if he should croak one of his family members or generals takes his place and the reign of terror continues.

Now, now! That's not very Christian!

If he dies, who's going to bring little presents to all the children in the world?

The weirdest thing about this situation is all the fans his sister is receiving out of the nowhere. I've seen extremely cringy fancam videos of Kim Yo-Jong on Twitter.

Dictatorships rarely survive multiple generations. Kims are a brutal exception.
Can't wait to hear about all her fantastic exploits like her glorious kin.

Nothing better than "spontaneous" displays of adulation in Stalinist regimes. The funeral when it comes will be high comedy like the last one no doubt.

To be fair they are more of a dynasty then just a dictatorship. North Korea is really quite peculiar in that regard. They describe their ideology and philosophy as Juche. Very heavily focused on the Marxist-Leninist ideals but a lot more focused on what they call as The Great Leader Theory. You could almost say it's monarchical an mystical. You just have to look at the kind of propaganda they tell about all of their leaders in being pretty much on the level of deities if you so want. Very crazy and bizarre.

So I guess they can't just go in and say, oh hey dear leader is dead! Here is General/Official/Partyleader YZX to replace him. Have fun!

Imagine us doing that over here. You would have a mystical tale of a tree and telling no lie.

You know what you should watch? I absolutely loved it. The Death of Stalin. It is also surprisingly historically accurate in many of their crazy details.

Now I really want to watch it again.

The weird thing about these "communistic" regimes is that they never ascribe to what their underlying ideology stipulates. The Jong dynasty in North Korea is a heavily classist totalitarian regime (where communism is supposed to be a classless ideology), China has been discarded all communist "principles" when it opened up in the 1970s(?), other failed communist states etc- the biggest one being the USSR may I add (that has been succeeded by the Russian Federation)- the entire works tbh....

....Its almost like communism NEVER works... because it predicates on humanity disregarding the social instinct of forming hierarchy.. Communism only works for small hunter-gatherer tribals or a medium sized village. The things "real" hard-line Communists advocate for is pure fantasy. I've only ever seen Communism as an ideology for ambitious people to just achieve a power grab over the reigning government of the current nation their ever active in. Then once in power do a complete 180 on all their stipulated goals (which happens 100% of the time) to consolidate their newfound power. Never a "instituting at stateless workers united no government" type of deal they yokel on about.

I wonder what Marx was honestly thinking when he wrote his manifesto.. He was a brilliant mind, but wasted it all on the most idiotic ideology of all time. Anarchists have more respect because atleast they are true to what they want- every man for himself, no government at all, only the fittest and most clever survive. Simple, on the point, and more realistic (if the Anarchists in question ever get a chance to topple a society that is).

Are you sure this is the definition of anarchism?

It's more that there are contradictions. Anarchists reject any kind of authority and then he says "if they topple a society that is". That makes no sense. That's like saying, pacifists are the best warmongers.

I thought the end goal of Anarchism was toppling organized government so thereafter there is no authority. Am I wrong?

Anarchism isn't a kind of revolutionary movement like socialism or fascism for example where the followers would actively seek to overthrow the existing society. Anarchy is closer to a sort of philosophy and utopian idea. You can't put it in practise. Anarchism is often described as a sort of natural state. Like tribal societies where they had no government or sort of authority. It's sometimes compared in a very simple manner to how animals live. They simply exist. No one tells moles or birds where to be and what laws they should follow, there is no authority exercising power directly over another like how our governments do it for example. And anarchism is very similar in that sense. So no, you can not force it on to a society by toppling it. Because then you would well, establish a sort of authority over people.
