When it comes to sexual assault discourse online, it's probably the trickiest thing to talk about.
There's so many variables at play and the fact it's hard to prove etc, the whole thing becomes a complete mess.
If sexual assault was taken more seriously, it would just be better for everyone, but sadly it terms of law, it becomes a massive cluster fuck.
Therefore I'm out of this discussion, there's too much to really unpack.
If you side with the accused, there's the potential that no matter what conflicting stories there may be, you could be siding with an abuser. However, there's also the idea of essentially ruining someone's life over what could either be a lie or an exaggeration.
There's also the thought of calling a victim of abuse a liar or an attention seeker and I'm not willing to go that far.
Unless more information comes out about this and there's some concrete stories, then I'm wall sitting.
Shit on me not taking a position, but I'm not willing to take a stance just yet.
