Now for something a little different. I liked Spongebob for the first few seasons. The Strangler is one of the best episodes I think.

Lack of sleep makes you post things such as this. If you do decide to ever watch Spongebob, stop watching after Season 4 or so I think. It should be said that two of those videos are edited and much stranger than the real episodes.

On another subject I find there is language barrier whenever I feel like sharing something in my native language. This one is subtitled, however I feel they will not make the same humoristic effect to anyone who doesn't speak spanish.

It is weird when you suggest there's something "brave" about abstinence from drugs. Drugs are just chemicals found in the world, after all. Some are more processed and others more synthesized than others, but they're ultimately a product of nature, and the choice to use them or not is equally natural. Responsible use doesn't mean you abandon facing reality at any time at all, let alone regularly. It just means you enjoy something for what it offers. When you hop on a roller coaster, the adrenaline high you get will momentarily make you forget about all the injustices you're well aware of, but when you step off the platform and you're back on solid ground, the experience HAS NOT changed you. You haven't ignored the harsh reality of life. You just had fun for a little while.

    It's weird to think otherwise.

So I'm feeling a little tipsy and sad. And I'm making pasta bake, which will probably end in disaster and bad tummy aches.

What's everyone else doing? What are y'all planning on having for dinner tonight?

Just returned from slowly coocking myself in the oven (guard room) at work, while watching repeatedly how a wounded fellow policeman got executed on the news (they kept showing it again and again) while he was performing a duty similar to mine.

It's incredibly sad how modern media is equal parts long-distance disaster tourism and actual journalism.

Considering this is a day late, I'll answer for what I made for myself at the time you asked.

Spaghetti. But this time around I felt like being a bit different and instead of making my sauce and pasta separately, I cooked the pasta slightly underdone (more than al dente) and kept the hot pasta water, then instead of adding tap water to the sauce whenever it needed more liquid I added in the pasta water, then I threw in more pasta water and the pasta itself when the dish was near completion. Bam, fully incorporated spaghetti pasta into marinara sauce of my own making without wasting any of my ingredients. I know this isn't revolutionary, and it's done all the time by more sophisticated cooks, but damnit I just cook cause I enjoy food, and I have zero culinary training background. So I was proud of my little dish.

    Incidentally, it was delicious.

Put a fan or something aiming south, send some of that coolnes over here. I'll do the same with a fan aiming north to send some of the heat. Hopefully we won't create a tornado or a hurricane somewhere in the caribbean.

Don't you guys have more effective means of heating your homes? Maybe better insulation? I'd sleep righ nex to a heater covered up my ass under thermal blankets. Or is it heating too expensive?

Well, I have about 4 broken windows at the moment, in the process of moving out, but ran out of money. Have some electric heaters though. It's complicated.

I'm psyched about the new Antman movie.

@TorontRayne, I still don't know what to think about Antman. I guess I just don't like the concept as whole.

Of the trailer I can only say that it hasn't sold me on it yet, like Avengers 2 has.

yeah, Avangers 2 trailer is a blast! I really really really hope they will give Ultron at least a bit depth though and not just Hurr-durr-I-ma-evil-robot-must-kill-umans :ugly:

People will really be surprised with Antman I think. The things he can do are very visually...exotic I want to say. The world when viewed from his perspective is awesome, really, check out the concept art they released.

I'm telling you. Michael Douglas is going to be a really good Pym. He brings a certain gravitas to the role. Rudd is going to surprise people. The relationship with his daughter, him having to steal to take care of her, is going to different. It's going to be a heist movie, so you can imagine how it will go down.

The original Antman, Pym, was a brilliant scientist. Scott Lang, Rudd's character, was originally a criminal simply to save his daughter, but then he ended up stealing Pym's suit, then later working with Pym to redeem himself, which is kinda what they might do with the movie. Some people might think the ant thing is lame, but once you see Wasp and Giantman fight alongside the Avengers then you will know true nerd bliss.

As for Avengers 2...I have many predictions.

We will learn that Loki's (Thanos) scepter, which Baron Von Strucker is using to control the Twins, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, is an infinity stone. Some nerds thought it was just powered by the Cube(Tesseract) one of the other infinity stones, but that is not the case. The stone on top of the scepter has to be either Mind or Soul. I think Mind would be logical since it controlled Hawkeye and Selvig. The Soul stone should be used to introduce Warlock, which is necessary for the GotG storyline, Thanos, Drax, Warlock, and pretty much the entire Infinity Gauntlet(War)storyline.

I think the Mind stone will be used a lot in Avengers 2. It may even be responsible for Ultron is some small way. We should be introduced to Wakanda as well, since Serkis appears to be playing Ulysses Klaw. So we may see Black Panther in some shape or form. I would expect we will get a lot of clue to the upcoming Civil War arc too. Expect a lot of fallout from Ultron wrecking the world because of Stark's Iron Legion, and the big fight between Hulk and the Hulkbuster suit.

There will be something interesting behind Hawkeye's absence in Winter Soldier too. He was not present during the entire Hydra takeover, so he was up to something. So we are leading up to the big battle against Thanos, the stones are slowly being revealed. Time, Mind, and Soul remain. I think one will be introduced in Doctor Strange. Soul should be in GotG 2, but I may be wrong.

The Inhumans movie could very well introduce an Infinity Stone, but that is too far along for me to predict atm. I do know they will have their hidden city Attilan either in the Himalayas or on the moon. Their origins are tied to the Kree which were introduced in GotG and is tied to Captain Marvels origins. If you speak nerd the pieces fall into place...
Captain Marvel is the wild card here. I don't know how they are going to introduce her. Her movie is in-between the two Avengers: Infinity War movies. The female Captain Marvel(Ms. Marvel), Carol Danvers, will most likely be used, but she wasn't the first Captain Marvel, so I'm thinking they will introduce the original Captain Marvel, who was Kree, then have him give his powers to her. Something like that anyway. It is too similar to the Green Lantern movie, but I think they can handle it well.

Anyway...you should be excited for Antman because he rocks.
