Strange that people would want it to be post-apocalyptic....
THAT'S BEEN DONE.
Not every game needs an apocalypse, you know.
If anything, I’d wanna see a cyberpunk setting done well for once.
This happened a few months ago
Is that an invitation
You know it's kinda sad that Post Apoc has become this ubiquitous genre in gaming specifically on the open world genre, not because of an artistic itnention but because it gives you an out on having to fill those open world with anything other than bandits, mutants and monsters so you don't need to build settings with good narratives and the like and gives you an excuse to have very few characters.
Best I can do is mid 20th century retro futurism ^__^
Good point. I didn't even think of it that way.
It's revolutionary to talk like that on this site!
e: What's the name of the game?
Not ready to reveal that yet
As much as I love the Post-Apoc genre it really has been done to death. Getting to explore a retro futuristic world will be fun. I have to ask though. In terms of theme and atmosphere will your Fallout spiritual successor have a serious atmosphere or will it be more goofy like the outer worlds? I always wanted to explore the dark totalitarian dystopia before the bombs fell. F4 is really disappointing in that regards.
Well, he never said it wasn't dog years.
So pre-apocalypse, huh? Is this an Omega Syndrome inspired title by any way?
Omega Syndrome, that's what it was! I couldn't remember the name when we talked about this stuff the other day.
that one was recently added to my inventory
No this is actually the first I'm seeing this game, heh. Might need to check it out.
