Roleplay Hello thread

Welcome, Kyzak! Trag hasn't been around for well over a year, but that would be great if you could find him. In the meantime, you're welcome to join Systematic Annihliation. Another new player already has. I'll have time to get in at least one post (maybe more) this weekend.

Good news! I think I've found Targ! I have found an active (As in posted several times today) forum account under Targ on a car forum. He has his email on there, too. Anything in particular I should say, guys?

Are you sure this is the same person? The user who created Systematic Annihilation is named Trag, not Targ.

It's too good of a resemblance to just blatantly ignore, Handy. I sent him an e-mail; We shall see if this is the true Trag soon enough.

Hello I'm Fenwick and I'd like to either explore the wastes, or utterly destroy everything in my path.

I have finally returned.

Its been a while that anyone has posted in this forum, but because the last few posts mention my prolonged absence, I figured I would post here.
I am back.
It's been a long time since my eyes graced these illustrious boards, and I am glad to be back.
I am in the process of reading up on all that I have missed in Systematic Annihilation. Which is I'm sad to say a lot.
I really wanted to thank all the guys who kept it going. Mr. Handy and Stompie especially, as they have been there from the beginning.

Well, I still keep an eye on the boards, but I am a bit busy with real life for playing, and even worse for starting any new games.

Anyways, once I am more settled I can try and start something that has been going around on my mind for a while now if you guys are interested.

Welcome back, Trag and Gonzalez! I check the board every day. I've been very busy in real life too. I've been meaning to update Systematic Annihilation, but haven't had time in the past few months. I do intend to do so this weekend if at all possible. You're welcome, Trag. It's been a pleasure keeping Systematic Annihilation going, and I have many cool ideas I haven't had time to write yet.

One of the things taking up a lot of my time in the last week or so is Zombie Apocalypse. It has a new home at Play@Yog-Sothoth here, and Chapter 4 is just getting started. If anyone wants to jump in and join, you'd be very welcome to do so, and this would be a perfect time to get started. There are dozens of brand new characters, and if you play them you won't need to know anything about the first 3 chapters.

Catching up...

Wow, Mr. Handy. I had no idea you were a fan of H.P. Lovecraft's work. I registered at the Yog-Sothoth forums and would be happy to join in. I have been a big fan of the writer's work for years and it sounds like something I would be interested in being a part of.

As for Systematic Annihilation, it is going to take me a little while to get caught up with the story, but once I have I will join back in when I see the chance. Again thank you for keeping the story going, you have really gone above and beyond the call of duty on this one :)

Yeah, I've been a fan of his for a long time now. It was Welsh (who started Zombie Apocalypse here) that told me about Play@Yog-Sothoth where he runs his game, and we eventually moved Zombie Apocalypse there about a year ago. While there I've also been playing in many other games on the site. I have ideas for games I'd like to run there, but Zombie Apocalypse is a full-time thing.

I noticed you registered there, which is great! I think you'll find a number of games you'll enjoy, not just Zombie Apocalypse.

You're welcome again. It's a lot of fun to write for Systematic Annihilation. I've been planning to move the clock forward to evening and getting back to our main characters anyway, so I should be able to do that with my next post.

Yeah, I registered today after checking out the link you left. I will start reading up on Systematic Annihilation tomorrow.
It feels great to be back, and I am definitely looking forward to the continuing adventures of Jack Graves, and Eldon Storch!

Hello. I'm Nigel.
Been trolling the boards since I first got into FO2.
Signed up a few years ago. Lost my UN. Re-signed-up
after playing FO3. Agree with most here about FO3 (enough said, yes?).

I've never done any hard-core rp'ing, but it might be nice to do some FO rp'ing.

See you in the boards!

Welcome, Nigel. There are a few RP games currently going on here. Systematic Annihilation has been going on for a few years. It's been inactive of late, but it's just starting to move again. There's a lot of established backstory to catch up on, though. Fraust has just started one called Wasteland Warzone. Lt. Col. Gonzalez may start up The Lost Platoon again if he gets enough time and interest (though that's not a Fallout RP). Zombie Apocalypse, also not Fallout, is still going on at another site: Play@Yog-Sothoth. The first two chapters can be read here, and Chapters 3 and 4 are on the other site. You don't need to know anything about the earlier chapters if you want to play, though. I just started Chapter 4 a few weeks ago, and there are plenty of newly added characters still available. You also have the option of starting an RP yourself.

A New Beginning

Hullo. I've been experienced in the RPing scene for nearly a decade now, and I have become engrossed in the Fallout Universe. I hope to enjoy RPing with you my fellow Wastelanders. Btw, my Fallout 1 and 2 knowledge is not too up to par... could this effect my RPing capabilities? =/

Not in any of the current games at least. Anyway there is only one game running now and that's a lot compared to the lack of activity during the previous months.

Oh and welcome, hope you enjoy RPing here, fell free to bring new ideas.

HeyHo guys!

I'm from Germany and I'm roleplaying for at least 10 years. As I stumbled on a note about a Fallout PnP a few days ago I first doubted that this setting and rule-system might work at a roleplay-table. But now I read thrugh the whole rule files and source books and I'm really getting excited about starting a Fallout PnP with my friends. And I guess they can't wait to start it too ^.^

So, I'm thinking about starting a translation for my fellow german roleplayers. And so, here is my question: does anyone know if there might be a problem with translating the whole rule books (Jason Mical's Fallout PnP 2.0 and the Update-files by Matthew Standley) into german, or might I first ask the autors for admission? And does anyone know how I can contact them? I'm not very proficient in copyright-law-stuff ;-)

Thanks and CYa!

Hello.

I'm Fireblade, I used to roleplay here and would like to return. My previous posts are on the board (buried), but I also rp on other forums such as Myth Weavers, in addition to some board-based RPGs.

That is all.

Hey, welcome back Fireblade. I wonder how many of the old players would like to return. Maybe we can start something with some of the old players, but most of them play (if at all) in other forums these days.

I wanted to star a new game in the forum for a long long long time now but never got the people to do it, and a lot of times I haven't had the time myself.

I'm game for...well....a new game. I miss a few I was reading over from the past, for sure. I miss playing Ivan in the wasteland, and also the 'Desert Conflict' one that never took off.

I was checking desert conflict this morning. Maybe we could start up something like that, or maybe I can come up with some futuristic sci-fi stuff I have been working on.

How do you fancy having your character crash-landing in some far away frozen colony in the middle of nowhere with all the colonists missing and unspeakable things moving in the dark?
