It came from the West Coast!!! Grrrr damn west coast.
So apparently I own the new Super Hot sequel because the devs gave everyone who owned the first game the second one for free. Terrible model for sales but big respect.
Super Hot is great, by the way.
So sad to see transphobic content in this game. What do the Japanese have against these people? Sorry that is racist.
What, you don't like furry, bdsm simulator more? You must be racist.
0/10 No black people.
I am excited to play the new Catherine but I might be transphobic by even purchasing it.
Is being fucking gay transphobic?
I don't know anymore. I'm pretty sure no matter what I do I will be wrong so I will just play KCD until I am blue in the face. Then I will switch to Witcher 3. Then I might finally get back to my X-COM LP.
Alright, bros the Xbox series X showcase is starting soon, so what do you want to see. I personally want to see Master Chief and the Arbiter have steamy gay sex with a Halo Infinite release date as well as the series x price.
So far the pre-show is just e-celeb interview hour.
Apparently the whole showcase is being commentated... great.
To be honest I never even bother watching the Xbox stuff. Halo and Gears of War just aren't my thing.
But it's fun to see and laugh at them trying to be entertaining and relatable especially since E3 isn't happening. I just want to see some silly shit instead of this clean and corporate persona the companies have put up.
So Far Echo Generation looks very interesting.
I never got the appeal of Halo, it has always looked incredibly bland to me, both gameplay and aesthetically, then again I wasn't into FPS MP on cosole when those games first came out so I guess that's an attachment I just don't have to it.
Avowed looks like it could be interesting, could be an alternative to Elder Scrolls.
I used to like Halo but it has run its course.
That reclaimer trilogy started out okay if underwhelming but I disliked that I had to read several 300+ pages books in order to get the entire story, and the sequel barely tied into the previous game as it was handled by a different writer who wanted to tell a story that did not tie much into Halo 4.
I could never get into the Gears of War games. I tried it but I just grew so bored quickly with the gameplay and the universe.
There are some similarities between the universes, just more entries after the main story has already been told as the publisher wants to continue the franchise despite that they have run their course.
These games are not like other fictional universes to allow for a lot of different stories to be told.
Given how atrocious Skyrim is, i would expect like a 0/10 given that Skyrim is at best a 2/10. From what i have played at a friend's house, i had more fun in that short amount of time compared to the entire playthrough of Skyrim (which was really me trying to find anything redeeming about it). The combat alone puts Breath of the Wild far above Skyrim because Skyrim's combat is bottom of barrel garbage.
Halo is my guilty pleasure. I love the Bungie games. When I was a kiddo I even read the early books.
Despised everything 343i has put out, they reeled me in with the Infinite trailers the exact way the Force Awakens trailers reeled me in. Nostalgia bait, classic designs and music.
Game looks like garbage, as to be expected from 343i.
Also, did they say Avowed was set on Eora? Isn't that the Pillars setting?
Nothing about Avowed appeals to me yet. Medieval Fantasy is a hard sell for me, it usually needs something extra to make me look past my dislike for the genre, like the Brutality of Berserk, the Challenge of Dark Souls and the Grit of The Witcher. Only reason I even bothered with Skyrim was because it was more Viking than typical medieval aesthetic. Will have to wait to see what else is revealed. Wanna support Obsidian but I am not the kind to force myself to buy a game I have no interest in.
Grounded looks fun to play with friends, and the DLC for Outerworld comes out in a little less than 2 months so that's also cool.
STALKER 2, baby!
Darktide looks boss as well.
Medium looks great.
Crossfire looks like Crysis 2 2.0.
and a new MOTHAFUCKIN' FABLE!
First Obsidian tries twice to do Baldur's Gate, then attempts New Vegas in space, and now it's trying Elder Scrolls? Can these guys actually try something new? Their last handful games have been very derivative.
It just feels like they are trying to repeat past successes by copying them.
I have my doubt Norzan now that they are under Microsoft.
I wouldn't even trust them with a Fallout game any more.
Fable could b cool. Though that series generally runs on the steam of goodwill towards an idea and vague memory of Fable rather than what Fable actually always was. A reboot done by competent developers could actually be quality though.
